I have a Samsung Chromebook 4 that I am trying to install fedora on. If you're not familiar with chromebook jailbreaking, it involves downloading homebrew firmware and eventually installing coreboot. So far, I've wiped the original firmware clean and replaced it with the homebrew stuff and coreboot.
Steam (flatpak) doesn’t increase the size after putting GDK_SCALE=2 in flatseal. So I recently installed Fedora KDE and when I install steam (the flatpak version) for the first time it was incredibly small. I looked online and there’s a way of fixing it by GDK_SCALE=2 in flatseal under variables for steam.
Running Bazzite KDE - Troubles with SDDM customization. So, I'm having trouble getting custom themes for SDDM to work. Even if I try to change the wallpaper, it refuses to accept it. I even tried downloading a new SDDM theme and it errors out saying it couldn't decompress the archive. Did I miss something from the install?
I just installed COSMIC Desktop on Fedora 40. It works smoothly and is very fast. All apps open instantly with no glitches or hangs, and everything functions perfectly.
Nvidia driver 555.42.02 finally made Wayland usable (for me) But how can one install it without moving to 41?
