3 de jun. de 2022 · Victoria College, Alexandria, during WWII The college admissions list was amended in 1967 when girls were accepted and it became a joint school. In the mid-1970s, theatrical cultural activity ceased, but later the Board of Trustees of Alexandria Schools in London contributed significantly to its revival.
Its publication in October 2002 is timed to coincide with the school's centenary. Victoria College, Alexandria, founded in October 1902, was named after the British queen Victoria, who had died the year before. It was the brainchild of a group of British businessmen who formed the nucleus of Alexandria's small British community.

Victoria College, Alexandria, (Arabic: كلية فيكتوريا) was founded in 1902 under the impetus of the recently ennobled Evelyn Baring, 1st Earl of Cromer of the Barings Bank, that was heavily invested in Egyptian stability. For years the British Consul-General was ex officio on the board of Victoria College.
