Charles FitzCharles, 1st Earl of Plymouth was born in 1657 illegitimately.1 He was the son of Charles II Stuart, King of Great Britain and Catherine Pegge. He married Lady Bridget Osborne, daughter of Thomas Osborne, 1st Duke of Leeds and Lady Bridget Bertie, on 12 September 1678 at Wimbledon, London, England.2 He died on 17 October 1680 at Tangier, Morocco, without issue.2

Charles Palmer, later Charles FitzRoy, 2nd Duke of Cleveland, 1st Duke of Southampton, KG, Chief Butler of England (18 June 1662 – 9 September 1730), styled Baron Limerick before 1670; Earl of Southampton between 1670 and 1675; and known as the Duke of Southampton from 1675 until 1709, when he succeeded his mother as Duke of Cleveland .
24 de may. de 2024 · Charles FitzCharles, 1st Earl of Plymouth had one full sister, Catherine FitzCharles, born in 1658. Very little is known about Catherine. Although some think she became a nun and died in 1759 when she was 101, she probably died young.
Charles died of dysentery without issue on 17 October 1680, aged 23, and the English were ultimately forced to withdraw, ending their presence in Tangier.
