De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium. De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium ( De les revolucions dels orbes celestes) és una obra de l'astrònom polonès Nicolau Copèrnic, publicada el 1543 a Nuremberg ( Sacre Imperi Romanogermànic) per Andreas Osiander i dedicada al papa Pau III (Alessandro Farnese). [1]
Así, el 10 de mayo de 1543 (el 20 de mayo en nuestro calendario) Copérnico recibió el primer ejemplar de De Revolutionubus Orbium Coelestium (Sobre la Revolución de las Esferas Celestes), pero no lo pudo leer, estaba enfermo, solo una chispa de lucidez lo animó y contempló la obra de 46 años de su vida, a los cuatro días, el 14 de mayo de 1543 (24 de mayo) murió.
