27 de feb. de 2016 · I'm not so sure Willy should be in the HoF but definitely Deep Purple. And I'm listening to "Dawn Explosion" right now, that's why I looked him up. Nothing against his talent, he just doesn't have the credits. Unlike you, I was a huge Deep Purple fan and I would also add Hendrix to your Big 3 BTW.

Caldwell returned, and Willy Daffern was added as vocalist for Captain Beyond’s third album, Dawn Explosion (1977), recorded for Warner Bros. Dawn Explosion was Captain Beyond’s final effort.
PROG REVIEWER. Same line-up as the first but with Willy Daffern on vocals. This albums certainly deserves a better rating than a 2 or a 3. 3.5 stars, really. A great mixture of both the first and 2nd albums. Of note, Willy Daffern has a pretty fine set of hard rock pipes (would've fit in well with Van Halen or Rainbow).
