About. Albany High School is located in the Albany City School District. The school offers grades 9-12 and is located at 700 Washington Avenue in Albany, New York. The school first opened its doors on September 7, 1868, and was located on State Street in Van Vechten Hall. The schools’ mascot is the Falcon and the motto is “assiduity.”.
