12 de dic. de 2020 · To prepare further for his future role in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed attended Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot, which is now part of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. During the latter stages of the six-month course, he was awarded the Sword of Honour for achieving the highest mark of any foreign and commonwealth officer cadet in his intake.

Mons Officer Cadet School 1947-1972 After the Second World War, all fit men were conscripted, after reaching their eighteenth birthday, for National Service of up to two years with the colours followed by three in the Territorial Army or other part-time Reserves.
Such records are not available for the years before 1961. Since that year there have been no fatalities other than the deaths of the two Commonwealth officer cadets who died last week following a patrol and endurance exercise.I wish to express my deep regret at their deaths and my sympathy with their relatives.
