When Sir Thomas Carew was born about 1368, in Devon, England, his father, Sir Leonard Carew, was 27 and his mother, Elizabeth Arundel, was 19. He married Lady Elizabeth Bonville in 1390, in Chewton, Somerset, England. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 25 January 1431, in England, at the age of 64.
