The Milstein is a playable Stradivarius violin that is currently owned by Jerry Kohl of Pasadena, California, but currently lives in its own temperature-controlled vault at the Disney Concert Hall. Kohl purchased the ancient instrument for an undisclosed price in 2006 from Nathan Milstein who had kept steward of this particular Strad for forty years.

  6. 30 de may. de 2019 · Nathan Mironovich Milstein (31 December 1903 — 21 December 1992) was a Ukrainian-born violinist who took United States citizenship in 1942 after spending much of his life there. He was born in Odessa. As a child, he was forced by his mother to take violin lessons to keep him out of mischief.
