The Death of Stalin ist eine Satire von Armando Iannucci (Regie, Co-Autor des Drehbuchs) aus dem Jahr 2017. Der Film basiert zwar auf realen Ereignissen, die rund um Stalins Tod stattfanden (die Hauptfiguren gab es schließlich auch alle), doch man sollte nicht erwarten, dass sich alles wirklich so abgespielt hat - es ist eben eine Satire, keine Dokumentation.
