EJ Soifersmith first came to Canterbury as the head coach of Varsity Volleyball in 2005 while working as the Director of Neighborhood Services at Community Action Committee of Danbury. Soon after, she became the School's Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student Activities.
The Canterbury varsity baseball program is a member of the Western New England Prep Baseball League. The league is divided into an Eastern “Cleary” Division and Western “Young” Division. Canterbury competes in the Young Division against Salisbury, Gunnery, Berkshire and Millbrook.

24 de may. de 2024 · The Green (Centre) District Schoolhouse on Canterbury green is the last one-room district school in town that is open to the public. A volunteer committee of the Canterbury Historical Society began restoring the Green School in 2002, and their work, other than ongoing maintenance, is now complete.
