Uppingham School is a respected and prestigious boarding school that accepts children between the ages of 13 and 18 for various studying programs. Initially, the school was founded solely as an institution for boys in 1584: in 1975, girls began to be accepted on the program of senior classes, and full-fledged mixed education from the age of 13 was introduced in 2001.
