25 de jul. de 2022 · Paul Sorvino, an imposing actor who specialized in playing crooks and cops like Paulie Cicero in “Goodfellas” and the NYPD sergeant Phil Cerreta on “Law & Order,” has died. He was 83. His publicist Roger Neal said he died Monday morning of natural causes at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sorvino wurde 1939 in Brooklyn geboren und wuchs auch dort auf. Er studierte an der American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York und debütierte 1964 im Musical Bajour. Seine erste Filmrolle spielte er 1970 im Film Wo is’ Papa?. 1973 wurde er für seine Rolle im Theaterstück That Championship Season für den Tony Award nominiert.

Paul Anthony Sorvino ( Brooklyn (New York), 13 april 1939 – Jacksonville (Florida), 25 juli 2022) was een Amerikaanse acteur.
