Sebastiaan 'Bas' Rutten (Tilburg, 24 februari 1965) is een voormalig Nederlands Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)-vechter en kickbokser. Hij is een voormalig kampioen zwaargewicht van de Amerikaanse organisatie UFC , driemaal King of Pancrase en eindigde zijn carrière met een reeks van 22 ongeslagen gevechten (21 keer winst, één gelijkspel).
Bas Rutten syntyi Tilburgissa, Alankomaissa, jossa myös varttui. Kuusivuotiaana hänelle todettiin hyvin pahanlaatuinen astma.
