17 de mar. de 2022 · Actor Sid Owen first joined EastEnders back in 1988 playing his down-to-earth character Ricky Butcher up until his exit in 2012. During his time on Albert Square, Ricky was at the centre of a few explosive storylines, however, the focus fell heavily on his problematic marriage to Bianca Jackson, played by Patsy Palmer.

Speaking to the newspaper, Sid says: “My mum died when I was seven and I never knew my dad.”. Sadly Sid did not repair his relationship with his late dad, who he says only bothered with him after he found fame in 1988.

I don't believe in ghosts, but it was a nasty place, dirty and horrible. I wouldn’t choose to do it again. And because we filmed in June and July this year it was hot as well.
