KatMiss 10 August 2001. Woody Allen's 1994 remake of "Don't Drink the Water" is an absolutely perfect comedy. This film was made 25 years after the awful 1969 original was made and watching both back to back, it is quite a revelation. I really hated the previous film, which starred Jackie Gleason.

En el año 92 había hecho su magna obra Maridos y mujeres , en el 93, Misterioso asesinato en Manhattan y en el 94, Balas sobre Broadway y la mencionada Don’t Drink the Water .
Los miembros de la familia Hollander son confundidos con espías al ser sorprendidos fotografiando una zona prohibida mientras están de vacaciones en un país más allá del Telón de Acero en plena Guerra Fría. Estos se refugian en la embajada de Estados Unidos, que temporalmente está dirigida por el incompetente hijo del embajador.
