After an excessive hiatus of more than a decade, Hades (Almighty) have returned and two of the three new songs are simply fascinating, inter alia because they reanimate the old spirit of the band. I would like to take the opportunity to recollect their first two albums under the banner of Hades. I am sure that they still deserve our admiration.

Hades Almighty é uma banda de black metal de Bergen, Noruega. A banda se formou em 1992 com o nome de Hades , mas tiveram que mudar para Hades Almighty em 1998 já que uma banda americana já detinha os direitos sobre o nome.
Hades tourten im Anschluss unter anderem durch Europa, die USA und Mexiko. 1998 begannen die Arbeiten am Nachfolger von Dawn of the Dying Sun. Nach einer Tournee mit Mayhem und Primordial durch die Benelux-Staaten und einer anschließenden Tournee mit Immortal und Benediction nannte sich die Band schließlich in Hades Almighty um.
Hades Almighty will use this opportunity to dedicate this album to the mighty Thomas "Quorthon" Forsberg of Bathory who died on the 7.6.2004. Your memory will always live on among us!
