  1. 28 de abr. de 2022 · Thomas Belasyse, 1st Baron and 1st Viscount Fauconberg, 2nd Baronet (1577–1653), [1] was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1597 and 1624 and was raised to the peerage in 1627. He was an ardent supporter of the Royalist cause in the English Civil War.

  2. Origins. He was born at Newburgh Grange, Yorkshire and was baptised on 24 July 1614 at Coxwold, Yorkshire. [citation needed] He was the second son of Thomas Belasyse, 1st Viscount Fauconberg (1577–1652), a Member of Parliament for Thirsk in the Short and Long Parliaments, by his wife Barbara Cholmondeley, a daughter of Sir Henry Cholmondeley of Roxby in Yorkshire.

Henry Belasyse, 2nd Earl of Fauconberg of Newborough was born on 13 April 1743.2 He was the son of Thomas Belasyse, 1st Earl of Fauconberg of Newborough and Catherine Betham.2 He married Charlotte Lamb, daughter of Sir Matthew Lamb, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Coke, on 29 May 1766. He died on 23 March 1802 at age 58.
