2 de nov. de 2022 · William Pitt was born on 28 May 1759 to William Pitt, 1st Earl of Chatham (often referred to as ‘the Elder’) and his wife Hester Grenville. He hailed from political stock on both sides, with his father serving as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1766-68 and his maternal uncle, George Grenville, serving as Prime Minister from 1806-7.
