British Aristocracy. 7th Duke of Marlborough. Born in Garboldisham Hall, Garboldisham, Norfolk, the son of George Spencer-Churchill, 6th Duke of Marlborough and Lady Jane Stewart. He was educated at Eton and Oxford before serving as a member of parliament for Woodstock from 1840 to 1845 and again from 1847 to 1857 when he succeeded to the Dukedom.
