1 de may. de 2023 · It is therefore not by chance that an engraving depicting György Dózsa made by Hungarian painter Gyula Derkovits was also placed on the cover of historian Aladár Mód’s book titled 400 Years of Struggle for an Independent Hungary, first published in 1943: it suggested that the fight against foreign imperialism dates back to Dózsa’s uprising.
