  3. When Jane Myddelton was born in 1515, in Denbighshire, Wales, her father, Dafydd Myddelton Alderman and Mayor of Chester, was 25 and her mother, Marsli ferch Dafydd of Wrecsam, was 36. She married Sir Thomas John Salusbury in 1533, in Denbighshire, Wales, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters.

  4. Myddelton House (listed grade II) is located in the south-east quarter of the registered site, overlooking the gardens to the east and south. It was built in 1818 by George Ferry and John Wallen, for Henry Carrington Bowles (1763-1830). The stock brick villa was built on the site of an earlier house.
