  1. 10 de feb. de 2023 · Isabel and Anne Neville led brief but turbulent lives. Their father, Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick by right of his wife, Anne Beauchamp, was at the heart of the conflicts of the mid-fifteenth century, earning himself the name ‘Warwick the Kingmaker’.

Her husband George accused one of Isabel’s ladies in waiting of poisoning her and, acting as though he were king, had her tried in a local court under his control which, not surprisingly, found her guilty and she was executed. The conviction was posthumously overturned by Edward IV.
