HENRY GREY, MARQUIS OF DORSET AND DUKE OF SUFFOLK. Husband of Frances Brandon and father of Catherine, Jane and Mary Grey. Supported his daughter Jane's claim to the throne. Pardoned, but later executed for supporting a rebellion against Mary I and her marriage to Philip of Spain.
Henry Grey var son till Thomas Grey, 2:e markis av Dorset och Margaret Wotton, och blev tredje markis av Dorset 1530 då fadern avled. År 1533, med kung Henrik VIII:s tillåtelse, gifte han sig med Frances Brandon (1517–1559), dotter till Henrik VIII:s syster Maria Tudor och Charles Brandon, hertig av Suffolk.
Henry Grey (17 janvier 1517 – 23 février 1554), 3 e marquis de Dorset puis 1 er duc de Suffolk, est un noble anglais de la période Tudor. Il est principalement connu pour avoir été le père de la « reine de neuf jours », Jeanne Grey .

He found that his credentials were suspect under the new Tudor regime not least because of his suspected conspiracy in the Lambert Simnel affair. What saved his bacon was his skill at jousting and his friendship with Charles Brandon, duke of Suffolk.
