Elimar I, Count of Oldenburg. Egilmar I [1] (c. 1060–1112) was the first Count of Oldenburg and thus founder of the House of Oldenburg. He reigned from c. 1091 to 1108.

21 de sept. de 2023 · After bearing Duke Elimar, 36-year-old Cecilia died from puerperal fever on the 27th of January 1844. She was buried in the mausoleum in the Churchyard of St. Gertrude in Oldenburg. August did not marry again. When he died in 1853 his son Peter from his second marriage succeeded to the Oldenburg title and lands.

Peter of Oldenburg was a scholar and philanthropist. He was also noted composer of music. In 1857 he composed the music for Marius Petipa 's ballet La Rose, la Violette et le Papillon. The Pas d'Esclave from the ballet Le Corsaire, which is taken from his score for this work, is still heard in theatres all over the world.
