Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Grafton KG (28 September 1663 – 9 October 1690) was the illegitimate son of King Charles II of England by Barbara Villiers, Countess of Castlemaine. On 1 August 1672 he was married at the age of nine to the five-year-old Isabella , the daughter and heiress of Henry Bennet, 1st Earl of Arlington .
Since that momentous union, Euston Estate has served as the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Grafton. The current holder of the title is His Grace, Henry FitzRoy, who inherited the dukedom from his grandfather in 2011 becoming the 12th Duke of Grafton. His son Alfred FitzRoy was born in December 2012 and holds the title of Earl of Euston.
The Duke of Grafton and, of course, his mother, the Duchess of Cleveland, are the ancestors of many prominent members of the modern British aristocracy. Diana, Princess of Wales, was descended through the House of Stuart via Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Grafton (as well as his half-brother, Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond and Lennox).

Henry FitzRoy, 5th Duke of Grafton (10 February 1790 – 26 March 1863), styled Viscount Ipswich until 1811 and Earl of Euston between 1811 and 1844, was a British peer and politician. Grafton was the son of George FitzRoy, 4th Duke of Grafton and Lady Charlotte Maria Waldegrave, daughter of James Waldegrave, 2nd Earl Waldegrave .
