Johann Elert Bode. Johann Elert Bode (født 19. januar 1747 i Hamburg, død 23. november 1826 i Berlin) var en tysk astronom kjent for sin omformulering og publisering av Titius–Bodes lov og for sine arbeider med å bestemme banen til og navngivelsen av Uranus. Han har også blitt tilskrevet oppdagelsen av Bodes galakse (M81).
