Georg Baselitz (egentlig Hans-Georg Kern; [1] født 23. januar 1938 i Deutschbaselitz i Sachsen) er en tysk - østrigsk nyekspressionistisk maler, billedhugger og grafiker. Hans Georg Kern forlod DDR for bosætte sig i Vestberlin i 1958. Kunstnernavnet Baselitz tog han i 1961 efter sin hjemmeby Deutschbaselitz.
