This one is an early reader's Book of the Film of the brilliant Beauty and the Beast (my favourite Disney film as well!!) and while it is sumptuously illustrated with painted stills from the film and retells the famous story with wistful nostalgia, it is of course rather inconsequential and only worth 2.5 stars at the most.

Unfortunately, although the book is marketed at the book of the film it does not contain any stills from the new live-action film - whilst not essential it would have added a little something extra to the book.

11 de may. de 2004 · Beauty and the Beast has always been one of my favorite Disney stories. The movie came out when I was a kid and it's since always held a special place in my heart. I'm thrilled that my daughter has developed a love for reading and she absolutely adores the story of Belle and the enchanted castle.
