19 de nov. de 2023 · Washington Irving was inspired by his home town but he wrote ‘The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow’ when he was living in England. When he eventually died he was buried in the Sleepy Hollow cemetery. His fame was so great that even today, his grave is the most visited site in the Sleepy Hollow despite the fact that there are loads of other people who are also buried in the cemetry.
