Die Strasse ist (Stand Mitte März 2018) auf den ersten ca. 15 km ab Knysna in einem teilweise schlechten Zustand und hat viele Schlaglöcher. Ist man einmal aus dem Wald raus, ist auch die Strasse besser und man kann immer wieder schöne Ausblicke geniessen.
