Synopsis. Gary King (Simon Pegg), a middle-aged recovering drug addict, resolves to track down his estranged school-friends and complete the "Golden Mile", a pub crawl encompassing 12 pubs in their hometown of Newton Haven. The group attempted the crawl as teenagers, but failed to reach the final pub, the World's End.
The World's End is a historic pub with a unique story. Situated within the Flodden Wall, a 16th-century fort that protected Edinburgh's old town, our pub is a real historic gem. Our name originates from the gates to the city that were once located outside the pub, representing the boundary between the city and the world beyond.
