Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie (c. 1290–1342) (sometimes spelt: Dalwolsey [1]) was a Scottish nobleman and knight who fought for David II, King of Scots in the south of Scotland in the Second War of Scottish Independence. Admiral Sir Alexander Robert Maule Ramsay, GCVO, KCB, DSO (29 May 1881 – 8 October 1972) was a Royal Navy officer. He was the husband of Princess Patricia of Connaught, the youngest child of Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, third son of Queen Victoria.
