William Russell, Lord Russell was born on 29 September 1639.1 He was the son of William Russell, 1st Duke of Bedford and Lady Anne Carr.1 He and Lady Rachel Wriothesley obtained a marriage license on 31 July 1669 at Titchfield, Hampshire, England.3 He died on 21 July 1683 at age 43 at Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, England, beheaded.1
