After “All I Want is You” finishes playing, there is a period of blank space and then “October” starts to play as part of the same track. In Brazil, and Canada, the two disc set was numbered upon release playing up on the limited edition aspect of this release, however, it is known that in Canada 175,000 units of the double set were pressed for sale.

“All I Want is You” is also featured in the 2011 movie Contagion, but there was no soundtrack album released. “Everlasting Love” was included on The Best of 1980-1990 & B-Sides compilation. It also appears on the Forces of Nature soundtrack album and can be heard in the movie Veronica Guerin , although it was not included on that film’s soundtrack release.
2 de nov. de 1998 · U2's first compilation comprised two discs: the first entitled 'The Best of U2 Volume One 1980-1990' consisted of 14 tracks from the Boy to the Rattle and Hum era. The second, entitled 'The B-Sides', was a collection of 15 b-sides from the same era. The two discs were combined into a limited edition double release for the first week of sales.

Unlike the proposed Best of 1990-2000, which would likely boast the non-LP "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" and the Passengers' "Miss Sarajevo," 1980-1990 contained nothing but material culled directly from the albums, which didn't exactly entice hardcore followers.
2 de nov. de 1998 · After the first week, the b-sides disc was deleted from the band's catalog. The Canadian release had a numbered, limited edition of 175,000 units pressed. The single disc Best Of peaked at No.5 on the Canadian album charts and No.4 on the US album charts. The combined Best Of/B-sides reached No.1 and No.2 in Canada and the US, respectively.
