30 de nov. de 2018 · Not sure if this was the best place to start when it comes to Gil Scott-Heron's discography, but in all fairness, this is a super solid record! The funk here is tones down, for something a lot more wordy and unkempt, and to my ears, it works a treat! Guerilla in particular is a really great track. Good stuff!

15 de dic. de 2006 · This is my favorite Gil Scott-Heron CD. The band was a little rough around the edges, but that's what made it so great! No pretense here. "Must Be Something" beautifully describes the black struggle. "I Beg Your Pardon America", which was about Reagan, is as pertinent today as it was when it was recorded. Now, we have the dread Donald Trump.
