Elizabeth Howard, Lady Knollys (1586 – 17 April 1658), was a courtier to Anne of Denmark. Elizabeth Howard was a daughter of Thomas Howard, 1st Earl of Suffolk and Katherine Knyvett . She was born at Audley End and baptised at Saffron Walden on 11 August 1586.

3 de dic. de 2018 · On 7 April 1538, four days after her death at the home of Hugh Faringdon, the Abbot of Reading, Elizabeth was buried in a crypt beneath the floor of the Howard Chapel where several of her siblings had already been laid to rest. The chapel no longer exists, although it’s known to have once stood at the east end of the north aisle.

28 de feb. de 2023 · The effigy rises from a squared ceramic plinth, placed on top of rectangular sectional red sandstone tomb. It is by the sculptor Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm, with the chest by Philip Webb. The tomb is of Elizabeth Dacre Howard. She died 17th July 1883, aged four months, and was the daughter of George and Rosalind Howard.
