11 de may. de 2022 · Roger’s next solo outing, Mail Order Magic – Disc 4 in this collection – had a difficult birth, as Acrobat, Roger’s record label, had started to run into difficulties. Despite those difficulties, and despite initial problems in finding musicians of the desired calibre to participate, Mail Order Magic eventually made it to the marketplace in 1980, and it’s a fine album.
Roger Chapman's second studio album, Mail Order Magic, was recorded under some Roger Chapmantough conditions for the singer. Punk and new wave were sweeping England of any "oldies" acts, and Chapman was having trouble taking root in his own country.
