At Dalton School, our curriculum is derived from a precise understanding of the context of which we serve. Our vision is focused on the school in the community and the community in the school. Thus, wherever possible we engage parents and other visitors in order to value our community and broaden children’s minds to their citizenship role.

Daltononderwijs is een onderwijssoort waarbij de nadruk ligt op keuzevrijheid voor de leerling, samenwerking met andere leerlingen en de ontwikkeling van zelfstandigheid. De scholen vallen in Nederland zowel onder het algemeen bijzonder onderwijs als het openbaar onderwijs. Helen Parkhurst (1930).
Daltonschool Katwijk is een kleurrijke school: kinderen met verschillende achtergronden zitten bij elkaar in de klas en leren van en met elkaar. Onze school is een daltonschool in oprichting.
