A corps cadet is a young Salvationist who undertakes a course of study and training at his/her own corps in order to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and become qualified for efficient service in The Salvation Army. Members are literally “cadets” in the corps, learning to become the leaders of tomorrow.

  4. Joining as a cadet is simple. Make sure you meet the age requirements listed below. Find a unit using the Find a Unit link. Fill in the Form and send it to the unit. You may not be eligible to join a School Based Unit if you are not a student of that School, but another unit may exist nearby. If you have any queries, contact the Unit.
