A deal with Elton John's Rocket label was almost in the bag, when Cousins himself left to work in local radio, and the band split up. In 1987 the Strawbs now reformed used some of the songs and re recorded them for the album "dont say goodbye". However Heartbreak Hill was finally issued in 1995 via Witchwood records through road goes on forever.
