Griffith, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks och Charlie Chaplin. [ 1] Bland de mer kända produktionerna från United Artists finns filmserierna om James Bond och Rosa pantern.

À la séparation du couple, entre 1933 et 1936, c'est Samuel Goldwyn qui en rachètera les installations.

No longer the smallest of the majors, United Artists grew to become the largest producer-distributor of motion pictures in the world by 1966. Two prestige pictures came to the new UA the first year, Sam Spiegel's The African Queen ( John Huston ,1951) and Stanley Kramer's High Noon ( Fred Zinnemann, 1952).
