Richard III. ( 2. října 1452 – 22. srpna 1485) byl anglický král od roku 1483 do své smrti o pouhé dva roky později. On August 22, 1485, King Richard III was killed at the Battle of Bosworth. His naked corpse was taken to Leicester and paraded before being buried at Greyfriars monastery church. The church was later demolished and its location forgotten. Nobody knew the resting place of the murdered king.
