John Hiatt, född 20 augusti 1952 [2] i Indianapolis, Indiana, [2] är en amerikansk låtskrivare, sångare och musiker. Hiatts artistkarriär började som tonåring med spelningar på lokala klubbar. 1973 släpptes första singeln och året efter fick han sin första placering på amerikanska Billboard -listan med andra singeln, "Sure As I'm Sitting Here" som klättrade till #16.
