About This Site. About the Amherst College Website. I n the fall of 2012, Amherst College launched a redesign of its website, Amherst.edu. Employing “responsive design” principles, the site changes according to screen size, so that pages and navigation are optimally readable on a variety of devices, including mobiles and tablets.
Admission Tours & Information Sessions. There are a number of ways you can experience Amherst in person. Reservations are not necessary for individual students and their families, or for groups of 10 or fewer. Groups of more than 10 should call the Office of Admission at (413) 542-2328 two weeks in advance to schedule a visit.
