George Chakiris (* 16. September 1932 [1] in Norwood , Ohio ) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler . 1 de mar. de 2021 · George Chakiris started his acting/dancing career appearing in musicals such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), White Christmas (1954), and There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954). After appearing in the London stage production of West Side Story for two years, he was selected by Jerome Robbins to co-star in the eponymous film.
George Chakiris (born September 16, 1932) is an American dancer, singer and actor. He is best known for his appearance in the movie version of West Side Story as Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks gang.
