Gen. Frederick Cavendish; she was also the widow of Roderick Cameron. She and Lord Furness were married in 1933. By this marriage he had three stepchildren:

23 de ago. de 2021 · At a dinner in Paris, she met her future second husband – Marmaduke Furness, who had been created Viscount Furness in 1918. He also happened to be one of Britain’s wealthiest men. He was also 20 years older than Thelma, and he, too, had been married before. From this first marriage, he had two adult children – Averill and Christopher.
24 de ago. de 2021 · Her stepdaughter Averill had died in 1936 of heart failure at the age of just 27. Thus when Marmaduke died, Thelma’s son became the next Viscount Furness. Thelma, Anthony and Gloria began a new life in California. The twin sisters were soon the toast of society, and they lived the socialite life.

26 de feb. de 2024 · Christopher Furness was born in London on 17th May 1912, the eldest son of The Honourable Marmaduke Furness (later the 1st Viscount Furness) and his first wife Ada "Daisy" (née Hogg) and was educated at Eton College.
