John Milford Rutter (født 24. september 1945 i London) er en britisk komponist og dirigent, kommandør av den britiske imperieordenen . Rutter er utdannet ved Clare College i Cambridge; her har han også arbeidet som lærer. Han har startet et eget profesjonelt ensemble, Cambridge Singers, som han har gjort flere plateinnspillinger med.
