Augustus Charles Lennox FitzRoy, 7th Duke of Grafton KG CB (22 June 1821 – 4 December 1918), styled Lord Augustus FitzRoy before 1882, was a British Army officer. He was the second son of Henry FitzRoy, 5th Duke of Grafton , and his wife Mary Caroline Cranfield Berkeley, daughter of Admiral the Hon. Sir George Cranfield Berkeley .

Sir Charles Augustus FitzRoy was born in 1796. In addition to being the only son of Lord Charles FitzRoy, he was grandson of Augustus Henry FitzRoy – the 3rd Duke of Grafton and, for a short time, the Prime Minister of Great Britain (1768 to 1770). FitzRoy was educated at Harrow and joined the Royal Horse Guards at the age of 16.

Born in September 1735, the death of his father in 1741 and his paternal uncle in 1747 made him heir to his grandfather, the second Duke, Lord Chamberlain to George II.
