Donald Andrew John Cameron, Baron Cameron of Lochiel, 28th Lochiel. Son of XXVII. The current chief of Clan Cameron. A Scottish Conservative Party politician, who was a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Highlands and Islands region between 2016 and 2024, before being appointed to the House of Lords.
Donald Angus Cameron of Lochiel, the 27th Chief of Clan Cameron, passed away on October 20, 2023. His son and heir Donald Andrew Cameron stated "It comes as a great shock but we are comforted by the fact that he died peacefully at Achnacarry in his sleep. We have been up at Clunes all week so saw him a lot and he was in good form and very happy."
